Hello and welcome

Huzzang Ltd is an IT consultancy that specialises in the definition, strategy and management of digital products. The company was founded in 2013 by Tim Gow, a digital generalist with over 20 years' experience in the publishing sector covering a wide variety of roles. Tim says:

I love that nothing stays the same for long in publishing. People are constantly innovating and embracing new technology to reach all kinds of audiences. For someone who grew up fascinated by journalism and computers, the challenges are both endless and invariably interesting.

So, why Huzzang Ltd?
The company has 3 core principles:

Huzzang is a variation on huzzah or hooray, meaning to cheer, celebrate or loudly express praise — this seemed to sum up the positivity and enthusiasm that we want the business to be all about.

Before starting the business, Tim worked at many B2B and B2C publishing houses, from tiny operations in his native Essex to some of London's most prestigious brands. His roles, in roughly chronological order, have included typesetter, designer, retoucher, sub-editor, ad trafficker, production manager, app designer, digital production manager, print and digital production director, and agency-based digital product consultant. Now with Huzzang Ltd, Tim has brought this unique range of experience to some of the world's largest publishing organisations.

I've never stopped learning — for me, that's the same as saying I am enjoying what I do. Once teams get to know me, I tend to get pulled in every direction, and I'm happy to constantly stretch myself. I am a hands-on go-to person, and I'm also a leader. I can genuinely say that no day is ever the same, and that's fantastic.
